Following their 2016 Christmas special, ‘Sense8’ returns next month with an all-new second season consisting of ten episodes. But before Netflix’s acclaimed sci-fi drama from Lana Wachowski, Lilly Wachowski, and J. Michael Straczynski (along with Grant Hill, who is replacing Lilly as EP for the sophomore outing), the popular streaming service has released a trailer to tease what the sensates will have to deal with this time around.

Earlier this week, Netflix debuted the first preview of the highly-anticipated series on their YouTube channel. In the brief sneak peek, we catch up with Capheus, Kala, Lito, Nomi, Riley, Sun, Will, and Wolfgang as they continue their life on the run from Whispers and the BPO. Although, since war is certainly looming, who knows what casualties could we could see in this fight? To form your own thoughts and theories about what could be on the horizon for these characters, check out the trailer and the official Season Two synopsis below:

‘Sense8’ is centered around eight characters, from different parts of the world, who experience a violent vision, and soon find themselves mentally connected by the experience. They become connected, able to see and talk to each other as though they were in the same place, with access to each other’s deepest secrets. Not only must the eight adapt to this new ability and to each other, they must figure out why their lives are now in jeopardy. In Season 2, dark forces continue to track the cluster of eight connected characters. The sensates will learn more about BPO, the secret organization searching for their cluster and others like them, and will work to protect themselves from this organization that is out to hunt and kill them.
