With only ten days until the launch of ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’, Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm are ramping up promotional efforts for the film. Not only have we been getting interviews, clips, stills, and all sorts of tie-ins (like Spaceship Earth in Epcot becoming the Death Star), but now we have a brand new international trailer that spotlights Felicity Jones’ Jyn Erso and her ongoing battle with the Empire that started from a young age.

Earlier today, Collider shared the latest preview for ‘Rogue One’ and it features plenty of never-before-seen footage from the upcoming film from a galaxy far, far away. The focus seems to be on our heroine Erso’s history with the villains of the tale and how that connection makes her the right person for this mission. We also see a little more of the interior of the Death Star. But the best part (for me anyway) is the glimpse into the relationship between Donnie Yen’s Chirrut Imwe and Jian Wen’s Baze Malbus as they take down some Death Troopers. You can watch the whole trailer below, followed by the official synopsis of the film:

In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the ‘Star Wars’ timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
