The extended cut of ‘Suicide Squad’ hits tomorrow and will be loaded with 13 minutes-worth of extras… including this one!

Margot Robbie‘s Harley Quinn was unquestionably the breakout star of the ensemble film, but as we’ve heard, a LOT was cut out of the final version of the film which screened in theaters.

In this particular scene, we flashback to before Doctor Harleen Quinzell became the pasty-faced, rainbow haired “Daddy’s Lil Monster” that won hearts this fall.  In the clip, Harleen chases down The Joker (Jared Leto) on a motorcycle as he attempts to flee, screaming “You’re not leaving me, you’re not leaving me!”

Check out the clip below:

Additional extras include:

  • Task Force X: One Team, One Mission – Discover the rich legacy of DC’s most infamous bad guys
  • Squad Strength and Skills – How’d they whip themselves into shape?
  • Get the inside story Joker and Harley: The ‘It’ Couple of the Underworld – She’s rotten. He’s damaged. They’re a match made in hell
  • Chasing the Real – Writer/director David Ayer reveals techniques for creating an authentic surreal world
  • Plus Gag Reel and More!

In regards to the deleted Joker scenes, Leto previously stated:

“I think that I brought so much to the table in every scene, it was probably more about filtering all of the insanity. Because I wanted to give a lot of options, and I think there’s probably enough footage in this film for a Joker movie.  If I were to die tomorrow, maybe the studio would roll something out. Rated R or rated X performance in there somewhere.”

It doesn’t sound like an entire extra movie is going to be included in this release, but it could possibly still surface in the future.  When the sequel comes out, you can bet Warner Brothers will release another version of the first ‘Suicide Squad’ in preparation, so maybe it will included then.

For now, this digital version of the extended cut arrives tomorrow (November 15) while the Blu-Ray will arrive in stores on December 13.
