Marvel Television has been on a roll lately when it comes to live-action shows. Since launching ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ in 2013, the slate has grown to include ‘Agent Carter’ (which has unfortunately been cancelled for now), the Defenders’ shows on Netflix (which include ‘Daredevil’, ‘Jessica Jones’, ‘Luke Cage’, ‘Iron Fist’, and ‘The Punisher’), and upcoming projects such as ‘Cloak and Dagger’, ‘New Warriors’, ‘Damage Control’, and ‘The Runaways’. With all of those pieces in play and more in waiting that we don’t even know about yet, how does someone manage to keep everything straight? Well, Jeph Loeb somehow manages to do it and we attempted to find out how.

It’s not every day that you get the chance to pick the brain of an architect of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But at this year’s New York Comic Con, ScienceFiction.com did just that. During the ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ press room, we had the opportunity to speak with the Marvel TV Head about how his corner of the MCU comes together and what’s in store for the future. Due to time constraints, we barely scratched the surface of the multi-faceted operation that Loeb is running over there at the House of Ideas. However, we did manage to get some insight into how shows end up on certain networks and which characters he wants to see on ABC alongside Quake, Ghost Rider, and Agent Phil Coulson.

Which Marvel Television shows are you most excited about? And what characters from the TV side of the MCU roster would you like to see on ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’? Let us know in the comment section.

‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ starring Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, and Henry Simmons airs on Tuesdays at 10:00pm on ABC.
