The DCE ‘DC All Access’ YouTube channel has hit a million subscribers and they are celebrating in a big way come September 2nd, 2016! The day will run an eight-hour live stream event which will have all original material from interviews with comic book creators and so much more! The company is going all in to celebrate and I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a few hidden gems in previews during the event as well.

The channel has daily updates on everything DC from comic books to television to animated projects and video games. DC has announced that every video they release has an average of half a million views from fans who want to learn more about what they are up to.

DCE’s director of digital marketing content Paul Malmont said that it has been:

exciting to see what we’ve accomplished in just three years. Now, more than ever, we’re committed to bringing unique, entertaining stories about all things DC to our fans. The first-ever DC All Access all-day live stream event is a thank you to our fans for their support

With the advent of social media and the ability to really connect companies with fans who are passionate about them, DC has clearly been on the right track here. DC All Access was initially a stand-alone web series which was launched in October of 2013 and returned in February of 2014 as ongoing programming. It was February of this year that they launched an All Access mobile app that has tied it all together from trailers to previews and more. The studio has clearly shown that they know how to connect with fans and have progressively been trying to do so online.
