Production on ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ is set to begin this week, according to a post on director Michael Bay‘s Instagram page. The director also let slip who the Big Bad in the fifth film in the franchise would be. You can check out the post below and see for yourself:

Bay has already filmed some footage in Cuba, but production begins within the next few days in Detroit.
Mark Wahlberg, who starred as Cade Yeager in the last movie ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’, is returning. Joining him is series vet Josh Duhamel as Lt. Colonel William Lennox. Isabela Moner will portray Izabella, the new female lead and British comedian Stephen Merchant is said to have an undisclosed role. Peter Cullen returns to voice Optimus Prime.
The new film, Bay’s last in the franchise, is due in theaters on June 23, 2017.
