The Huntsman: Winter’s War‘ is due out in theaters in just a few months and this prequel and sequel to ‘Snow White and the Huntsman‘ is kicking off the latest round of marketing by delivering four new motion posters!

In the film, we’ll be following Chris Hemsworth (‘Thor: The Dark World’,’Avengers: Age of Ultron’) reprising his role as the Huntsman and working against Charlize Theron (‘Mad Max: Fury Road’,’Prometheus’) as the Evil Queen. Also on display and important to the plot are Emily Blunt (‘Edge of Tomorrow’,’Looper’) as the Ice Queen who is the Evil Queen’s sister and Jessica Chastain (‘The Martian’,’Zero Dark Thirty’) who plays Sara, the Huntsman’s warrior lover. The film was directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan who we’ll find out if he  is able to deliver a more solid film than Rupert Sanders was able to.

With mixed reviews, this is a film that many have questioned the need for a sequel and in just a few short months we’ll see if the studio’s gamble has paid off or not.

In the meantime, here are the motion posters:

Not bad, though I really think the studio needs to drop more teasers or trailers to get the word out over these.

Are you looking forward to ‘Huntsman: Winter’s War’? Do you think the motion posters are a good touch or should the marketing team be working on getting the word out in another way? Share your thoughts below!

Only the skills of Eric (Chris Hemsworth) and Sara (Jessica Chastain), two warriors who defied Freya by falling in love, can save this enchanted land from the forces of darkness.
