If there was one gripe about Season 1 of ‘Daredevil’ from many fans, it was about how long it took the titular hero to create and then wear his iconic costume from the comic books, which (spoiler ahead if you somehow have not yet seen Season 1 ) does not actually happen until the final episode of the season. That’s not to say the costume he wore throughout the season was not iconic, as it harkened back to the Frank Miller days of the comic and the design from that era, but there is something about seeing the hero in their official uniform on the big screen that really makes or breaks the character. Fortunately, when Matt Murdock finally donned the Daredevil suit, it looked pretty great, and was well-worth the 12 episode wait.
Now as ‘Daredevil’ season 2 approaches, we will not have to wait as long to see the costumes of Murdock’ allies/enemies, as Netflix is heavily promoting the costumes of the Punisher and Elektra, as you can see by the Twitter image (below) and poster released , as well as the new promo showcasing the costumes (not to mention some cryptic dialogue from Murdock claiming that people will die if he takes a night off). :

Fans can rest easy that Frank Castle will indeed be sporting the iconic skull on his chest, and it even looks like he is wearing the trench coat that has become somewhat synonymous with the character. As for Elektra, it does not look like she will be wearing the traditional skimpy red ninja outfit from the comics (which some might be pleased with, saying the costume was more about sex appeal than utility), but her costume does seem like a compromise between what she wore in the comics and something that would be more useful to her as a skilled ninja.
