The Winchesters are back on the road and in Season Eleven of The CW’s ‘Supernatural’, facing The Darkness which could be their greatest threat ever.  This season is said to be more structured with a focus on a larger narrative versus isolated weekly incidents.

But it looks like things are as gruesome as usual as Sam (Jared Padelecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) appear to find themselves in a hospital where something no-good is taking place.  In the picture below, you can see Sam is roughed up, holding a gun in what appears to be a waiting room full of dead bodies.  Were these bodies killed by Sam?  Were they possessed?  Or did some other force kill them? As you can see, it’s not just the brothers Winchester that are back in the spotlight.  Both Castiel (Misha Collins)  and Crowley (Mark Sheppard) are back.  When last we left Cas– speaking of looking roughed up– he’d been enslaved by Rowena and unleashed on Crowley, who apparently survived the attack as he looks just fine. Executive producer Jeremy Carver shared a few clues as to what to expect from the C+C Demon Factory. First, regarding Cas, Carver said:

“Castiel, first and foremost, has to find a way out of this spell that Rowena has cast on him.  That’s not as easy as it may sound. Being under the influence of this spell, it’s going to lead him to some pretty uncomfortable situations.”

And Crowley?  Carver said that he will be “very much trying to figure out how he is going to navigate this new world where The Darkness threatens just about everything,”
