We’ve got the first three minutes of ‘Fear the Walking Dead‘ to share with you today and in them we get to see our first look at a walker in action! That’s right folks, early rumors said we may not be seeing much of the undead this season but it looks like they’ll be on screen right off the bat! I’ve been on the fence of what to think of the series so far but far beyond what the teasers and trailer has shown us but this has me excited for ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ to air!
The clip starts off by showing the character Nick Clark waking up and looking for his girlfriend, Gloria. With the fact that he’s been in a drug den and clearly looks a little strung out I’m not sure it would be too surprising that his girlfriend had temporarily gone missing for a few. Things actually don’t seem too out of place for his condition. That is, until bodies start piling up while hes looking for her. However Gloria’s safety isn’t what he should be concerned about as when he does find her she is in the process of eating someone else.
Talk about a bad trip.
You can check out the first three minutes below followed the show’s synopsis!
A companion series to “The Walking Dead,” the #1 show on television among adults 18-49, “Fear the Walking Dead” takes us back to the beginning of the zombie apocalypse – a time when the world was changing rapidly for reasons unknown, before anyone understood exactly what was happening, when life as everyone knew it was upended and altered in ways no one could have ever imagined. “Fear the Walking Dead” is executive produced by Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, David Alpert and showrunner David Erickson and produced by AMC Studios. The series, set in Los Angeles, stars Kim Dickens as Madison, Cliff Curtis as Travis, Frank Dillane as Nick, Alycia Debnam-Carey as Alicia, Elizabeth Rodriguez as Liza, Ruben Blades as Daniel, Mercedes Mason as Ofelia and Lorenzo James Henrie as Chris.
I absolutely love the pace and vibe that the introduction to the series is giving us. I know things are going to slightly slow down after but if they can keep it this good, we might just have another winner on our hands! One of my favorite parts of the show will also be the fact that between the walkers being fresh and the outbreak having just started that no one knows who is alive or undead from a quick glance.
