While not the first clip for ‘Horns‘ that has been released, this one really shows off Daniel Radcliffe (‘Harry Potter’ franchise,’The Woman in Black‘) in his upcoming role far better than the previous one did. After his stint as Harry Potter, Radcliffe has really been embracing roles in horror films and ‘Horns’ looks as if he’s having a devilishly good time on screen. The movie is based on the novel by Joe Hill whose other work, ‘Locke & Key,’ is currently in production over at Universal.

When we first see Radcliffe as Ig Perrish, we find out that he was falsely blamed for raping and murdering his ex-girlfriend. While innocent of the crime, he has a black cloud hanging over his head as everyone in the town, including his own family, really want nothing more to do with him. After a year of living like this, he wakes up after a busy night of drinking and finds out that a pair of horns have grown from his head.

If you thought that would be interesting enough, now whenever anyone comes near him they voice their darkest thoughts and desires. Knowing this, Ig is able to use the information to encourage them to follow their desires by being the devil on their shoulder and having them ignore any angel whispering what a bad idea it is.

Now this is a movie that has picked up US distribution by Dimension Films but no word on when we’ll have a chance to see it on the big screen quite yet. It will be released on October 31st in the UK so hopefully we’ll be hearing soon when Dimension plans to let us get a look at it.

While no US release date has been announced, ‘Horns’ stars Daniel Radcliffe, Juno Temple, Max Minghella, James Remar, Joe Anderson, and Kelli Garner.
