The Michael Bay-spearheaded ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ hasn’t exactly been brimming with positive buzz.  In fact, nearly every factoid about it that surfaces seems to instill more and more concern into fans.  The turtles won’t be actual turtles; they’ll be aliens.  Shredder will be CaucasianMeagan Fox is April O’Neil.  Uhhhhhh….

Then, last week, the image of a Halloween costume surfaced which set fans off again.  Check it out below:

It hasn’t necessarily been confirmed that this image is actually authentic, but even if so, Halloween costumes aren’t always necessarily all that accurate.

But now, we actually have some more tangible images of the Turtles and Shredder that may set some fans’ minds to rest.

These are maquettes, small models/statues used for animators to reference while rendering the art for a particular project.
