We already knew that ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ featured two major villains, Electro (Jaime Foxx) and The Rhino (Paul Giamatti). Then days ago, a leaked storyboard indicated that another villain would make at least a brief appearance. (SPOILERS!) But could yet ANOTHER villain also pop up?! Is there even enough time for Spider-Man to make an appearance?

The NYPD are the city’s greatest heroes, but sometimes even heroes are left scratching their heads. For instance, when $200,000 goes missing from the armored vault at G.K. Mason Bank.
Detective Stan Carter of the NYPD Major Crimes Unit was on scene to comment, stating, ”There’s still a lot we don’t know, but it looks like some kind of sustained vibration literally shook the door off its hinges and ripped the walls apart in the process.” Security cameras inside the bank were damaged upon the immediate forced entry of the robber, denying police a clear view of the perpetrator or the means of rupturing the vault.
When asked if the NYPD had concerns that the nature of the crime might indicate heightened super-human activity, Carter said, “There’s no evidence to point to that yet. When we catch him, we don’t expect anything more than a common crook with a clever toy.”
Certainly sounds like The Shocker to me. In the comics, The Shocker is common thug Herman Schultz who channeled powerful vibrational blasts through a pair of metallic gauntlets. These forces were so intense, he had to wear a padded suit to insulate himself. He went on to become one of Spider-man’s most persistent foes.
It’s still unclear how this mysterious tumblr will tie into the upcoming movie. Or if it will at all. But with all its cryptic clues and references to characters both well-known and obscure… there’s got to be something to this, right? And with all the rumors about The Sinister Six, is it unheard of that Sony is sneaking in cameos to set that team up for the future?
