The time has come that ‘Game of Thrones’ fans have been waiting for! The official trailer for Season 3!
The trailer was unveiled during Friday’s ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ show and unlike the behind the scenes images and featurettes HBO has released in the past, this trailer is entirely made of footage from the upcoming season!
Season 3 draws mainly from the first half of George R.R Martin’s third book in the ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ series and showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have really upped the ante this year making things bigger – not only with the inclusion of more characters and more elaborate settings, but they are also adding more to each episodes (4-5 minutes worth!).
With lines like “There’s a beast in every man and it stirs when you put a sword in its hand” spoken by Ser Jorah Mormont and the final line “The revenge you want will be yours in time”, you can’t help but get shivers of excitement. Add with the footage of the Kaleesi, shots of the main players in the series and a flying dragon, March 31st can’t come soon enough!
