Have you been keeping up with the ‘Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome’ web-series on Machinima? The YouTube series has become a sensation with over 6 million views so far and there are still 4 more episodes to go! We’re now on the last two before next week’s finale and it looks like Adama is in for a few surprises.
If you haven’t been following the series, ‘Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome’ follows the exploits of young Commander William Adama (Luke Pasqualino) as he battles in the first Cylon war. The show takes place between the events of ‘Caprica’ and ‘Battlestar Galactica’ when Adama, call sign Husker, is assigned to go on a covert mission during his first “milk run.” He is joined by his co-pilot Coker (Ben Cotton) and Dr. Becca Kelly (Lili Bordán), who has her own agenda concerning this war.
The mission continues and picks up from last week’s two episodes with Adama, Cocker and Dr. Kelly stranded on an icy planet. Episodes 7 & 8 can now be seen below.
Here’s a quick synopsis of both installments:
Episode 7:
Waylaid by a ferocious storm, Adama, Coker and Becca reluctantly follow their eccentric savior, marine recon sergeant Xander Toth (John Pyper Ferguson), to shelter in an abandoned ski lodge. Adama and Coker finally find some common ground and secrets about Becca’s mysterious mission are revealed.
Episode 8:
The tentative safety of the ski lodge is abruptly shattered as Cylons breach Toth’s defenses. With Becca and Toth nowhere to be found, Adama and Coker face off against their deadly robotic pursuers. Becca makes a horrifying discovery about the Cylons’ agenda on Djerba.
Make sure you return here on ScienceFiction.com next week for the final 2 webisodes of this exciting series!
