Those super stealthy ninjas who bring us set photos from our favorite movies are really on the ball today. Jose Padilha’s reboot of ‘Robocop’ started shooting today in Toronto and there are already pictures online of star Joel Kinnaman suited up as the title character.
According to reports, Robocop is supposed to have at least four different suits in the film. Rumor has it, one of the suits is supposed to resemble a Transformer, so we’re unsure which version of the Robocop suit this is, but with the ninjas being on top of their game, I’m sure we’ll be getting a few more peeks as production continues.

Here’s the synopsis of the film:
The year is 2029 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy is a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilizes their remarkable science of robotics to save Alex’s life. He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities, but with issues a regular man has never had to face before.
Also starring Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson, Abbie Cornish, and Jackie Earle Haley, ‘Robocop’ is set to be released on August 9, 2013.
