The newest full length trailer for ‘Wreck-It Ralph’ is now online and is a must see for any gamer who grew up in the 80’s and 90’s!

The animated film is about the video game character, Ralph, who is tired of being the “bad guy” in the 8-bit arcade game ‘Fix-It Felix Jr.’ He even joins an Al-Anon style meeting called Bad-Anon for other video game villains who are coping with being the target of hate due to their jobs. Ralph decides to embark on a game hopping journey to prove that he has what it takes to be a hero. While on his journey, Ralph travels to different gaming worlds and encounters a virtual who’s who of video game characters, but it’s his sojourn into the first person shooter game called ‘Hero’s Duty’ that puts him and the citizens of his old game at risk.

The trailer alone is filled with many video game references and you may just have to watch it several times just to catch them all! There are some great cameos that gamers young and old alike will surely recognize such as Kano from ‘Mortal Kombat,’ Zangief and M. Bison from ‘Street Fighter,’ Q*Bert, Bowser, Dr. Robonik and even ghostly Clyde from ‘Pac Man.’

Unfortunately one cameo that won’t be seen is Mario as Disney and Nintendo weren’t able to come to a monetary agreement over the use of the character. But the rest of the film sure makes up for this oversight on Nintendo’s part!

For any game aficionado, ‘Wreck-It Ralph’ is a film that should be on the must see list just for the nostalgia of genre if anything else. And if the trailer has you hooked, then you can also head over to the ‘Wreck-It Ralph’ site to play the game yourself!
