Production on the new ‘RoboCop’ hasn’t started yet, but thanks to Omnicorp.com, which has been launched as a part of the movie’s viral marketing campaign, you can get an exclusive first look at a few key pieces of robotics that will be featured on the big screen, such as the new version of the ED-209 drone and the XT-908 Aerial Drones. There’s even a very brief look at the RC-2000, which is another name for the title character.

Directed by Jose Padilla, the ‘RoboCop’ reboot features Joel Kinnaman from AMC’s ‘The Killing’ as the cyborg law enforcement officer Alex Murphy, Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson, Abbie Cornish, and potentially Hugh Laurie as a villain. It is set to be released on August 9, 2013.
