The Avengers’ may be the first and biggest comic book adaptation to hit the theaters this summer movie season (and possibly all time), but it’s not the only one. Courtesy of Comic Book Movie, we have a new TV spot for ‘Men In Black 3’, the second sequel to the 1997 sci-fi comedy that was based on the short lived comic book from Aircel Comics created by Lowell Cunningham.

In this clip, we get a few snippets of new footage combined with a lot of the same stuff that we saw in the official trailer that plays up the time travel angle of the plot. For me, the highlight of this spot, and what will probably be a highlight of the movie as well, is Josh Brolin’s spot on Tommy Lee Jones impression. See below for the full spot.

Here’s an official synopsis for ‘Men In Black 3’:

“Agents J and K are back… in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K’s life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him — secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind.”

The threequel was directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, and stars Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin, Sacha Baron Cohen, Jemaine Clement, Emma Thompson, Nicole Scherzinger, and Michael Stuhlbarg. It hits theaters on May 25.
