Considering Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ is slated to be released in 3 months, there really hasn’t been much promotion with the movie going on. That’s why we’re excited to see this piece of promo art showcasing Selina Kyle/Catwoman in full costume glory.
The image has Anne Hathaway in her full body skin-tight black leather Catwoman costume with the Catwoman goggles that when flipped up become cat ears. The thigh high steel heeled boots accentuates the look as well as the pattern mesh throughout the body suit. Nolan seems to have taken some liberties with the character as instead of the usual bull whip normally associated with this femme fatale, Hathaway is brandishing a pistol.
You can also get a “real” look of the costume in the upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly as she and Christian Bale grace the cover in their alter ego outfits. In my opinion, the promo art doesn’t do the costume much justice and I have to admit, Anne Hathaway look pretty sleek in the suit!
If you want to see what the suit looks like in action, you can rewatch the trailer that was released last December. As the premiere date gets closer, I’m hoping that more clips and trailers will be released soon.
