With filming to soon start on the J.J. Abrams untitled ‘Star Trek’ sequel, it’s no surprise that news of additional cast members for the movie are now unveiling. Yesterday, it was reported that Benedict Cumberbatch snagged the role of the big villain and that fellow Brit, Noel Clarke has also been added as a family man with a wife and child. Now, thanks to ET, we know who will be playing Clarke’s wife.
Nazneen Contractor has just been cast in the role of spouse to the “don’t know much about this character” family man played by Clarke. Contactor is better known as Kayla Hassan from the Fox show ‘24’ and has also appeared in ‘Rules of Engagement’, ‘The Border’ and the short lived sitcom ‘The Paul Reiser Show.’
As has been the case lately, that’s about all we know about her role. Abrams and team have been very good at keeping this movie’s plot a secret. Have to admit, though, they do make a cute couple. Wonder what their child will look like? Who do you think should be cast in that role?
