There’s a new zombie movie coming soon to a theater near you. Deadline recently reported that Paramount Pictures, once unsure about the movie ‘World War Z,’ is now on track to make the picture a reality this summer when they enter production.
Mike Fleming from Deadline reported that he was “told that Mireille Enos, star of the AMC hit series ‘The Killing,’ is in talks to play Karin Lane, the wife of Gerard Lane, the character played by Brad Pitt in the adaptation of the Max Brooks book. In ‘The Killing,’ she plays Sarah Linden, the homicide detective trying to solve the murder of Rosie Larsen. This will be the first major-studio starring role for Enos, who starred for three seasons on HBO’s ‘Big Love.’”
Apparently Paramount Pictures feels as though there’s room for more zombie flicks. How about you? Have zombies been overdone, or do you welcome another movie about these festering undead?
Stay tuned for more updates on this movie as they become available.
