Supergirl

When ‘Supergirl‘ returns in “Suspicious Minds” it looks like we’ll be in for a load of action if this trailer is any indication. There is a lot going on here, and it seems that Kara is going to have a lot to do when she flies back onto the small screen. Just don’t expect any fallout from the “Elseworlds” story arc to come into play here. We’re back in the main anti-Alien plot from the first half of the season.

Specifically, here’s what the episode will be about:

COLONEL HALEY IS DETERMINED TO FIND OUT SUPERGIRL’S IDENTITY – Colonel Haley (April Parker Jones) is upset after Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) responds to a distress call from a Navy ship that turned out to be a deadly alien attack. Colonel Haley reclaims the site as DEO territory and demands that Supergirl step aside. After Supergirl refuses to be told what to do, Haley refocuses her energy on finding out Supergirl’s true identity and begins to interrogate all DEO agents, including Alex (Chyler Leigh). Meanwhile, Brainiac-5 (Jesse Rath) tries to persuade Nia (Nicole Maines) to embrace her superpowers, but she misinterprets his motives. Rachel Talalay directed the episode written by Maria Maggenti & Gabriel Llanas (#410). Original air date 1/20/19.

Another stand out for the trailer is for those who have been waiting for Dreamer to get into action; this includes the first shot Nura Nal in a super suit. It isn’t clear if she’ll be wearing this soon or if it is just a hint of things to come further into the season.

Colonel Haley is getting closer to finding out Supergirls’s secret identity and it it will be an interesting twist to see not only if she discovers it but what she’ll do to Kara’s friends if she does.
