The first season of ‘The Punisher‘ on Netflix left Ben Banes as Billy Russo being horribly disfigured by Frank Castle and new stills from the second season give us a peek at what he now looks like. On top of that, the streaming service has also offered up a few other looks to enjoy with one of Frank Castle prior to having the iconic skull on his vest as well as a shot of him hidden in the shadows that prominently feature it!
First up, we’ll give you three shots of the return of Billy Russo as that also includes the mask which he’ll be wearing in the hospital. From the look of the third shot, it doesn’t look like he’ll be staying in intensive care or any kind of custody for too long in the series.
It would be unlike Netflix to not also show off the main character of a series, and we’ve also got the two shots of Frank mentioned above. The first of these two looks to be before he fully returns to his war on crime.
I love that we’re seeing a lot of Billy Russo even though he hasn’t been billed as the main villain so far. Even with the newly released synopsis, it isn’t clear if Russo or Josh Stewart’s John Pilgrim will be the main villain for Castle to go up against.
