Toy Story 4

A new animated short for ‘Toy Story 4’ has been released and introduces some new of its new top-shelf voice talent!

Disney released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel, along with the short in reaction to the teaser. The short features comedy duo Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, voicing a stuffed animal bunny and duck, expressing their excitement for the next chapter in the ‘Toy Story’ franchise, as they hang out in a carnival stand.

In the short, Peele’s character Bunny says:

“Ducky — you see the new movie trailer? They’re making another ‘Toy Story’ movie.”

In response, Key’s Ducky says:

“No! I thought those movies were done, dog! They made three movies!”

The two stuffed comics then go on to test out their impressions of their favorite characters from the original films. Bunny tries his hand at Buzz, saying:

“I am Buzz Lightyear: space ranger. To infinity and your mom!”

Their heroes Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz (Tim Allen) show up to help them with the lines, but Bunny and Ducky are skeptical, with Bunny saying:

“You can’t go to infinity, dummies!” Bunny insists.

The first teaser trailer features the returns of favorites such as Woody, Buzz, and Jessie (Joan Cusack), and introduces newcomer Forky, voiced by Tony Hale.

‘Toy Story 4’ is set to hit theaters June 21, 2019. Check out the animated short featuring Key and Peele below!
