If you’ve been dying for Netflix to rock the holiday season with a bit of Satan, erm, Santa in ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,’ you should be thrilled that we’ve got the first look of the holiday special! Netflix has shared that Christmas is coming to Greendale on Friday, December 14th, 2018, and fans will be thrilled to check out this sneak peek of “A Midwinter’s Tale.”
When the special was announced, Netflix also shared what this episode would be about:
“The Church of Night, like all covens, celebrates the Winter Solstice — the longest night of the year — when families gather together around the Yule Fire to sing pagan carols, tell ghost stories and huddle against the supernatural creatures that come out to cause mischief. Since the Winter Solstice is when the veil between this world and the next is at its thinnest, it’s the perfect time to conduct a séance — which Sabrina convenes, to try and contact her mother. But the holidays are also a time for guests and visitors — both welcome and unwelcome — and you never know what might come down the chimney.”
Thankfully, Netflix isn’t being stingy with their first preview and unlike Scrooge, is serving up a pile of images to tease the episode. Eight images which show off all kinds of things like Susie taking a part-time job as an elf and Harvey not getting into the holiday spirit.
