Gotham

Everyone in the production of ‘Gotham‘ keeps going back and forth as to if Jeremiah will be Joker, but the latest image is practically screaming that he’ll be the Clown Prince of Crime. The producers keep saying that these two twins of Jeremiah and Jerome are going to be laying the groundwork of the actual Joker who has yet to come but after seeing this image shared by Sean Pertwee, who plays Alfred Pennyworth on the series, it is hard to imagine that he isn’t the character.

The image didn’t stay up long on Pertwee’s Instagram before being deleted, but thankfully a few people were quick to grab a copy of the shot which has Batman, The Joker, and Alfred reading up on ‘Gotham’ between takes of shooting.

You can check that out right here:

From the face to the hair to the outfit to the gloves, it really just looks like we’ve got Batman’s nemesis in the flesh here.

We do know that before his death, Jerome shared to Jim Gordon that he wasn’t just a man, but he was an idea, a concept. Even with him gone the spirit of his madness would continue on which we’ve already seen with his twin brother and likely will see again if the producers are being honest that someone else will end up as Joker. Either way, it’ll be interesting to see which take of the character ends up working with Harley Quinn.

Do you think that Jeremiah will end up as the Clown Prince of Crime or will we have yet another Joker revealed before the final season of ‘Gotham’ comes to a close? Can they even pull off introducing another one without it feeling forced at this point? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

‘Gotham’ will return to FOX for its fifth and final season in 2019!
