Say what you will about Sony’s failed attempts to use Spider-Man and Spider-Man characters over the past few years, ‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse‘ looks absolutely amazing and we’ve got a new poster and trailer from this animated feature to share with you! Set in an alternate world with a focus on the Miles Morales version of Spider-Man, this new film uses a mixture of animated and CGI to deliver a movie that looks like you’re actually watching a live comic book. Not only that, but it is delivering what could be the first successful Spider-Man story from Sony Pictures in years.
Maybe, this could be the bold new direction which Sony Pictures should be looking at taking the Wallcrawler and convince them to work out a deal with Marvel Studios to return more of the characters which they hold the cinematic rights to. The movie is set to put an older and what sounds to be a disillusioned Peter Parker who teams up with Miles Morales and others from different universes to stop a slew of Spidey’s greatest villains.
