When it was announced that Pedro Pascal (‘Game of Thrones’) had joined the cast of ‘Wonder Woman 1984,’ fans began speculating as to how he would fit into the world of Diana Prince. Well, wonder no more! Information regarding Pascal’s character has surfaced.

It has been reported that Pascal will be playing a villain in the upcoming sequel to Gal Gadot’s 2017 hit. He will join Kristin Wiig’s Cheetah, but his character will be different than a typical baddie. Apparently, Pascal will play a god disguised as a businessman, making a deal with Diana that if she does as he says, he will bring the love of her life, Steve Trevor (Chris Pine), back from the dead.
This reveal could explain how Trevor returns after meeting his end in ‘Wonder Woman.’ However, it is important to note that, characters making deals with any sort of entity in movies never goes according to plan. I am sure this will be no different! But, the heart wants what the heart wants.
‘Wonder Woman 1984’ is directed by Patty Jenkins and stars Gadot, Chris Pine, Wiig, and Pascal alongside Ewen Bremner, Said Taghmaoui, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Doutzen Kroes, with newcomers Natasha Rothwell (‘Love, Simon’), Ravi Patel (‘Master of None’) and Gabriella Wilde (‘Doctor Who’) in unconfirmed roles.
