The cast of ‘Godzilla vs Kong‘ just got a little bigger as Julian Dennison (‘Deadpool 2‘,’Hunt for the Wilderpeople’) will be involved! This 16-year old from New Zealand has not only shown off some great acting chops but has been getting some large roles to go with them! While his fists likely won’t be on fire in ‘Godzilla vs Kong,’ there will still be plenty of CGI effects going on all around him to bring this giant creature feature to life.
The actor will be joining Millie Bobby Brown and Kyle Chandler when the film is released and potentially Frances McDormand as well who has been offered one of the leading roles in the movie. We know that Adam Wingard will be directing the fourth film in the series which will follow the events of ‘Godzilla‘, ‘Kong: Skull Island‘, and the upcoming 2019 release of ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters‘.
While we don’t know what to expect from ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’ outside of the King of the Kaiju going up against everyone’s favorite supersized gorilla, Legendary Pictures has released a logline which describes the film as “the Gigantic Kong meets the unstoppable Godzilla. The world watches to see which one becomes the king of all monsters.”
While ‘Godzilla’ struggled a bit at showing us the giant monster, we saw that ‘Kong: Skull Island’ had learned from that mistake. With a growing cast for the giant showdown between these two great beasts, it’ll be interesting as to how much focus on individual humans that there actually could be.
