Movies have come a long way since the introduction of CGI. And while bad CGI can really take a viewer out of the fantasy, some CGI is so slick that casual viewers don’t even realize that what they’re looking at isn’t real! Obviously, there was quite a bit of the VFX in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, and sadly some of it worked better than others. But these revealing before and after images will prove that some of what you saw wasn’t real and you never even realized it.

Yes, True Believers, hate to break it to you, but Wakanda isn’t a real place. Sadly, not everyone realizes that as it was reported that following the release of ‘Black Panther’, some dumbasses actually tried to book vacations there. (This footage was actually shot in the Atlanta area.) As you can see in the last two pictures, not only can CGI be used to create new environments, but it can also be used to spruce up not-so-attractive locations, as the VFX team made the slightly bare trees in the real shooting location look lush a beautiful.
Now, we have some images from the “Marvel-ous” post-credits scene, which helped set up the introduction of Brie Larson’s ‘Captain Marvel’.

And now for that big payoff!

Some wondered why ‘Captain Marvel’ was set in the 1990s. But if you think back to the very first Marvel post-credits scene in ‘Iron Man’, Nick Fury tells Tony Stark that he’s implementing the Avengers Initiative. The implication is that Fury already knew about the existence of super beings, but that has never been embellished until now. ‘Captain Marvel’ will depict Fury’s first encounter with forces beyond his comprehension. Now that things have gotten incredibly dire, Fury uses the last of his energy to send an S.O.S. to Captain Marvel.
Expect a lot more insight when the DVD/Blu-Ray is released.
