The most recent preview for ‘Avengers: Infinity War‘ seems to indicate that our young Peter Parker might have joined the big leagues after all. While he didn’t become an Avenger at the end of ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming,’ it looks like with the new suit and Tony’s words on the matter we might see the Wallcrawler now actually be one of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes!
Of course, we want to hear that directly from the Tom Holland himself, so we’ve got a clip below from Hey You Guys asking if he is or isn’t an Avenger.
The most entertaining part though is the guy directly behind Holland. One might wonder if he could be trying to get on camera or perhaps Holland’s personal security. With how often the actor has let little things about the movie leak though, we’re all going with the theory that this is actually a Marvel Studios rep that works as Holland’s handler. He likely has to follow the actor around all day long and make sure the actor doesn’t accidentally give out a critical piece of information and be ready to jump in at a moment’s notice in case the young actor does!

There you have it, folks, as Holland stats, “I think he is, yeah. I think he is now officially an Avenger.” As to if that means the Avengers are back together or this is just the government sanctioned team which Tony Stark likely runs is another story entirely. As to if The Avengers will team up once again, “I don’t know the answer to that question because I haven’t actually read the script.” We already know that they won’t be on speaking terms when the movie kicks off, but Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will likely have to get over their differences if they want to go up against Thanos.
