It’s been hard to keep up with the newer episodes of Cartoon Network’s hit ‘Adventure Time’ as they have been spacing out the releases over several months. The first batch of new episodes were released in September, followed by another batch of four in December and a final batch just a few days ago on March 18. That leaves only one episode to go before this classic series rides off into the sunset.
Yes, Pendleton Ward’s instant classic is signing off for good, although Cartoon Network has not given a date for the final episode. They have, however, released a promo for it, with the label “coming soon.” The final episode is referred to here as “The Ultimate Adventure,” although the actual title is “Come Along With Me.” You can hear that theme song at the end of the clip. This episode will be an hour long and as shown in the clip, we see the forces of Ooo going to war. And most of the core characters are present, Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum, Marceline, Lumpy Space Princess, Lady Rainacorn, etc.

‘Adventure Time’ began airing in 2010 and became an instant hit with viewers of all ages. The current tenth season is the last. Set in the post-apocalyptic land of Ooo, the series focused on a young human, Finn, and his best friend, a shapeshifting dog named Jake, as they went on various escapades and encountered a wild assortment of colorful beings. At its peak, it was the most popular program on Cartoon Network and a merchandising monster spawning a slew of toys, video games, clothing and more.
