Stranger Things

No one knew that ‘Stranger Things‘ was going to be such a smashing success when it kicked off, though the stars of the show are now raking in the rewards! From Emmy nominations to red carpet walks to film opportunities to trips to Antarctica, they’ve all been making a splash, and now the cast is getting a financial bonus as well. Negotiations took place before the third season could even begin filming and it sounds like the cast is going to be getting paid what they deserve for their time!

While Netflix has declined to comment, it sounds as if the child actors are going to be getting “roughly 12 times their previous deals” and that the adult starts will now be getting up to $350,000 per episode depending on their pay-tier with the breakdown being:

Winona Ryder (Joyce) and David Harbour (Jim Hopper) make up the “A tier” and are making up to $350,000 an episode. The “B tier” consists of the young stars — Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) and Noah Schnapp (Will) — who are each collecting $250,000 per episode. Meanwhile, the actors in the “C tier” — onscreen teenagers Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan) and Joe Keery (Steve) — are each pocketing roughly $150,000 an episode.

Not a bad deal for talent here. It isn’t clear what Millie Bobby Brown is in this range as she had already negotiated a contract outside of the one with the rest of the cast which put her making at least $250,000 last year with some of those involved saying she is in the same tier as Harbour and Ryder. With her presence so crucial in the overall story, this actually doesn’t feel like that huge of a leap.
