As promised, Marvel and Freeform have released a new trailer for their new series ‘Cloak & Dagger’!
Unlike the first trailer (which really was more of a teaser), the new footage shows both Tandy Bowen/Dagger (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson/Cloak (Aubrey Joseph) at an earlier time giving a glimpse of their lives and challenges they went through before meeting each other. It also hints at a time where they seem to have previously met years before, but how that factors into their teenage lives is yet to come.
The series is based on the comic book characters created by Bill Mantlo and Ed Hannigan, with Joe Pokaski as the creator and showrunner. Pokaski also serves as executive producer alongside Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory. The series was given a 10 episode first season run.
The series stars Olivia Holt, Aubrey Joseph, Andrea Roth, Gloria Reuben, Miles Mussenden, Carl Lundstedt, Emma Lahana, Jaime Zevallos, and J.D. Evermore.

Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger is the story of Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph) – two teenagers from very different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened by and awakened to newly-discovered superpowers which are mysteriously linked to one another. Tandy can emit light daggers and Tyrone has the ability to engulf others in darkness. They quickly learn they are better together than apart, but their feelings for each other make their already complicated world even more challenging.
‘Cloak & Dagger’ will air Thursdays on Freeform beginning June 7, 2018, with a two-hour premiere event.
