the Punisher

We’ll likely be learning more about Netflix’s new ‘The Punisher‘ series at San Diego Comic-Con 2017 but in the meantime, the streaming Goliath and Marvel TV have released a new teaser for the series. We’ve been eager to see Jon Bernthal sporting the skull full-time and I suspect that this little 7 seconds of pure tease is doing is hinting that is what is soon to happen. However, knowing Netflix and Marvel TV I would almost expect him to suit up for the first time closer to the end of the series. Bernthal is set to be joined by Deborah Ann Woll, Geoffrey Cantor, Jason R. Moore, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Michael Nathanson. No word as to if any of Marvel’s other costume clad heroes will be popping up at this time.

Please remember before watching this that I did say and stress that this is just a teaser.

On the downside, the teaser just shows the logo. On the upside, we now know what the logo looks like for the series! It is something that Netflix has taken quite some time to release. It should also be noted that no series tagline was included here.

On the image itself, likely this will also be the look of the skull which we’ll see Frank Castle sporting on his chest at some point. We still haven’t been given a release date as to when the series is set to stream on Netflix though most indications have been that it will be released this Fall.
