Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2

In a year that contains no fewer than three movies set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – including the latest ‘Thor’ film and Tom Holland’s first solo outing as the wall crawler in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ – the most eagerly anticipated is arguably ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’, the sequel to 2014’s surprise hit (to the extent that any Marvel movie can be a surprise hit), ‘Guardians of the Galaxy.

With the latest issue of Empire Magazine set to feature an exclusive preview of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’, they have released a new still image from the film through their website. That image can be found here:

In addition to the image, Empire’s release also included a brief statement from star Chris Pratt, giving fans a sense of what to expect from the much anticipated sequel in true Pratt fashion:

“You can expect to see everything you loved in the first movie, but you’re also going to… but it… oh, I should rephrase that. [clears throat] Don’t expect to see everything you saw in the first movie. But expect to be charmed ant thrilled and entertained like you were watching the first movie.”

As was implied by the end of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, the sequel will among other things see Star Lord tracking down his father, played by Kurt Russell.
