We’ve all seen the initial clip from ‘The LEGO Batman Movie‘ which has Robin picking out his costume for the film and now we’ve got the full minute long scene which not only shows off what leads into it but a couple Batman costumes you may have previously missed. We all knew pretty early what route they were going to go with Michael Cera’s take on Robin by this scene alone, and I suspect that he and Will Arnett may have had problems not cracking jokes nonstop if they were doing their voice work at the same time.

I love how Batman is just getting his armor ready without really paying much attention to Robin until it’s too late and the button is pressed. You have to wonder when Batman wore some of the costumes, though. St. Batricks was clearly for Saint Patty’s Day, The Batriot was likely for the Fourth of July, and Easter Bat was another no-brainer, but Clan of the Cave Bat? I’m not quite sure when this take on Batman would have ended up hanging out with cavemen.

It also looks like you could see a slew of other costumes in the background which makes me hope there is another scene that shows them off or an extra onBlu-Ray and we don’t have to wait until the eventual ‘The LEGO Batman Movie: The Game’ to unlock them all.

Which of Batman’s costumes which were shown off was your favorite? Are you looking forward to checking out ‘The LEGO Batman’ Movie? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

Synopsis:

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO® Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure: “The LEGO® Batman Movie.” But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.
