Lex-Luthor-Batman-V-Superman-Hair-Jesse-Eisenberg

‘Justice League’ has added two more cast members to its already big cast.  We already knew that Vulko (Willem Dafoe) and Mera (Amber Heard) were appearing in the superhero team up movie, as well as Amy Adams as Lois Lane, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth.  Now two more supporting characters are signing up.

First is Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.  Remember, the worst part of ‘Batman V Superman’?) But Warner Brothers signed him up, so we’re stuck with him.  Yay.

But of course, Luthor was teased as returning in ‘Batman V Superman’ when he was transferred to Belle Reve Prison, home base of the ‘Suicide Squad‘.  But then he didn’t appear in that film (thankfully), so the thought of him returning may have faded from some minds.  But… nope.  He’ll be back,

The other addition is Connie Nielson as Amazonian Queen Hippolyta.  Nielson will wake her debut in ‘Wonder Woman’ but will apparently reprise the role as Wonder Woman’s mother in ‘Justice League’.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, ‘Justice League’ is set to be the flagship entry in DC’s burgeoning cinematic universe. The film features returning stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot alongside a wave of newcomers, including Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher and J.K. Simmons. ‘Justice League’ will land in theaters on November 17, 2017.
