talking-dead

With the premiere of ‘The Walking Dead‘s seventh season killing off at least one major character it should be no surprise that Chris Hardwick will have a lot to talk about so the ‘Talking Dead’ is set for a special 90-minute run! Not to help narrow things down at all, Hardwick also included in the announcement who all would be featured on the episode which may hint at who is set to bite the big one! Well, not really, as the cast will include Andrew Lincoln, Ross Marquand, Norman Reedus, Sonequa Martin-Green, Josh McDermitt, Michael Cudlitz, Chandler Riggs, Christian Serratos, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Or everyone in Negan‘s lineup including Negan himself. It wouldn’t surprise me if they did a video interview with Morgan as the rest of the cast and crew might be a little annoyed with the villainous Negan actually showing up on stage with them. As a bonus, we’ll also see showrunner Scott Gimple and creator Robert Kirkman making appearances.

With so many big names it will be interesting to see how they give everyone proper screen time.

To celebrate it almost being Halloween and to support such a big staff the live show will take place in Hollywood Forever Graveyard instead of the standard studio location. Not only that but the audience will include 2000 fans as they are giving away that many tickets to watch the premiere with the cast! Sounds like quite a treat for those who can make it.

In the week between ‘Fear the Walking Dead‘s season finale and the premiere of ‘The Walking Dead’ we’ll get another hour long special of ‘The Walking Dead’ titled “The Journey So Far” where more of the cast and crew will preview the upcoming season as well as go over the events which have shaped our survivors. Kirkman warns to “Buckle Up” for what is to come.

Are you looking forward to the special for ‘Talking Dead’? Who do you think will bite the big one in the season premiere and how will they feature them here? Share your thoughts below!
