Though the ‘Wonder Woman’ trailer may have been one of the biggest crowd pleasers at Warner Bros.’ massive Hall H presentation, Batman played a big part in the proceedings. Ben Affleck was officially confirmed as the director of the solo Dark Knight movie. The Caped Crusader was also seen bringing together the team in the ‘Justice League’ teaser. And though he wasn’t actually in the final trailer, we know that ol’ Batsy will play some part in ‘Suicide Squad’. But the hero made his biggest impact at the panel when the latest trailer for his most highly anticipated project in recent history was unveiled.

Before WB moved on to the likes of ‘Kong: Skull Island’ and ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’, the studio dropped a brand new trailer for ‘The LEGO Batman Movie‘. Featuring Will Arnett as he reprises his role from the surprisingly amazing ‘LEGO Movie’, this film from director Chris McKay and writer Seth Grahame-Smith finds Batman having to adapt to changes in his life and in Gotham City. One of the biggest changes is the addition of a partner. That’s right, kids. The dynamic duo is back together again as Michael Cera voices Robin the Boy Wonder. You can meet him, as well as Zach Galifianakis’ Joker, in the trailer below:

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made ‘The LEGO Movie’ a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure: ‘The LEGO Batman Movie’. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.

Please know that I am 100% serious when I say this and am in no way being sarcastic: As much as I like Batfleck, ‘The LEGO Batman Movie’ might be my most anticipated Batman film right now. Arnett’s portrayal of the legendary crimefighter in ‘The LEGO Movie’ was so hilarious that I couldn’t wait to see more of him. Luckily, we won’t have to wait until the sequel (which was recently pushed back) to get it.
