Agent-Carter

‘Agent Carter”s excursion to L.A. is winding down as Hayley Atwell’s intrepid secret agent zeroes in on the source of the mysterious Zero Matter.  But don’t expect things to go too smoothly!

Where will Carter’s investigation lead?  Well for starters, the lair of Whitney Frost.  The actress-turned-super villain is nowhere to be seen, in this first clip, which shows Peggy and Agent Sousa (Enver Gjokaj) gathering evidence… well, at least they think it’s evidence.  But at least Peggy gets one souvenir to commemorate her time in California.

Watch the clip below:

In the second clip, Peggy runs into Agent Thompson (Chad Michael Murray) and the pair have a standoff.  Who will act first?

Here is the press release for the next and final episode of ‘Agent Carter’ Season 2:

PEGGY MUST MAKE THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE IN ORDER TO DESTROY ZERO MATTER, ON THE SEASON FINALE OF “MARVEL’S AGENT CARTER” ON ABC

“Hollywood Ending” – Peggy needs Howard Stark to eliminate Zero Matter as they are faced with a mission none of them could come back from, on the season finale of “Marvel’s Agent Carter,” TUESDAY, MARCH 1 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EST) on the ABC Television Network.

“Marvel’s Agent Carter” stars Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, James D’Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Enver Gjokaj as Chief Daniel Sousa, Wynn Everett as Whitney Frost, Reggie Austin as Jason Wilkes and Chad Michael Murray as Chief Jack Thompson.

“Hollywood Ending’s” story was by Chris Dingess with teleplay by Michele Fazekas & Tara Butters and directed by Jennifer Getzinger.

As a bonus, here are some still photos which show Carter and her allies looking around.  No telling what they’re looking for, but we’ll probably have to tune into the season finale to find out.

In the meantime,c heck out the images below:

Unfortunately, all signs point to this being the final season.  Ratings haven’t held up for the sophomore installment and star Hayley Atwell has already been cast in a new series debuting this fall, ‘Conviction’.  In addition, ABC already has another ‘S.H.I.E.L.D.’ spin-off ‘Marvel’s Most Wanted’ on the way, which should fill the void left by the departing ‘Carter’.

Are you sad to see ‘Agent Carter’ go?  Or would you like to see further period adventures from this pre-Avenger?
