With 2016 right around the corner, fans (including yours truly) are starting to get excited for the upcoming release of season 2 of ‘Daredevil‘ on Netflix, which has a lot of hype, and rightfully so. The show is coming off of a stellar first season, coming into a new storyline featuring two more iconic Marvel characters, Frank Castle (aka The Punisher) and Elektra Natchios, Murdock’s on/off again girlfriend from the comics.
The photos from the new season are courtesy of EW, who also took time to sit down with new showrunners Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez, to discuss the second season, with Petrie leading off with the following comment:
“The advantage of any sequel is you can dive right in. We hit the ground running and then we ran as fast as we f—ing could.”
Definitely looking forward to the complications the Punisher and Elektra will bring, especially with the years of history between them and Daredevil in the comic world.
