With ‘The Walking Dead‘s sixth season right around the corner, AMC is starting to release new images from the upcoming season. The new images are coming in from various outlets as the studio is really letting many of the major outlets have exclusives here. With the new releases we have 6 great new images to share with you today that you should enjoy.

We know that we’re going into the season with Rick having just committed murder as punishment for a crime in Alexandria. At the time it occurred he had the town’s blessing though that tide seems as if it will quickly be turning against him. Its hard to tell how well he is holding up but he doesn’t seem to be having a great day in the following image:

Michonne may have swapped out her katana for a gun though if this image is any indication that swap might not be too permanent.

Rick might look a little depressed but Daryl really isn’t starting things off that great with so much blood on his hands. Is it his?

Sasha is usually killing Walkers with a gun and at a range. While we’ve seen her fight them up close and personal she seems almost a little too calm in this shot.

The next image comes directly from Lauren Cohan and while it wasn’t from a major press release it is new for the series. I mean really who doesn’t want to see more of Cohan anyway?

I saved my favorite for last as I have a feeling that this knife isn’t something Carol needs while making her world famous cookies!

Honestly that picture just puts a smile on my fave with how overly nice she has been acting while in Alexandria. I wonder what the townsfolk will think of her when they find out who she truly is.

Synopsis:

Season six starts with Alexandria’s safety shattered by multiple threats. To make it, the people of Alexandria will need to catch up with our survivors’ hardness while many of Rick’s people will need to take a step back from the violence and pragmatism they’ve needed to embrace. These reversals won’t happen easily, or without conflict. But now Rick’s group is fighting for something more than survival. They’re fighting for their home, and they will defend that at any cost, against any threat, even if that threat comes from within.
