The monster hit of the summer, ‘Jurassic World,’ is coming to Blu-Ray on October 13th, and to prep the fans and audiences for that experience, Universal has released 8 making of clips from the film, which delve into the filmmaking process. With interviews with director Colin Trevorrow and executive producer Steven Spielberg talking about the magic of the original ‘Jurassic Park’ and Colin’s first time seeing that film, to their amazing luck in casting Chris Pratt before his breakout role in Marvel’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy,’ to the practical effects done to the bring the dinosaurs to life, to the amazing computer effects that made the dinosaurs more real and life-like than ever, to the locations of the shoots, with half of the film shot in Hawaii and the rest shot on a NASA lot down in Louisiana, there is a lot of information shared in the clips.

The interviews with Pratt are especially entertaining, as he talks about why he chose to do the film (he heard he would be in charge of training raptors that would eventually be put in use for the military and thought “Awesome”), as well as his constant worry that he needed to make sure he was on top of his game so he did not screw up a ‘Jurassic Park’ movie. The entire cast seemed to really appreciate the experience, even the two younger actors, who got more than they bargained for in terms of stunts for the movie.
