For PC gamers eagerly awaiting its release, it looks like the PC version of ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ has been pushed back yet again, launching now on April 14.

Initially set to release in Fall 2014, and then delayed first to January 27, and a second time to March 24, this third delay looks to be pushing the critically acclaimed open world title back another three weeks.

“Our apologies to PC gamers worldwide who have been counting down the days until the launch of the game, but a bit more time is needed to ensure that the game is as polished as possible,” Rockstar Games said in a Newswire post.

As a gesture of goodwill to consumers who have pre-ordered ‘Grand Theft Auto V,’ Rockstar Games has offered to give $200,000 more of in-game cash on top of the current value of $1.3 million that they had initially been receiving for pre-ordering. This brings the total to $1.5 million that players can spend across both ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ and ‘Grand Theft Auto Online.’

On top of this news, Rockstar Games also revealed that the Heist Missions will finally be making their way to ‘Grand Theft Auto Online’ March 10 for console versions of the game. The missions will also be available for the PC version when it launches in April.

For those with rigs that can support it, the upcoming PC version of ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ will be fully optimized to support a broad range of different hardware with a variety of different configurations to set. It will also feature 4K resolution support and a special editing tool called Rockstar Editor, which will allow players to create and publish gameplay clips to the Rockstar Social Club and YouTube.

Concerning the delay, Rockstar Games commented further: “We thank GTA players worldwide for their patience in awaiting these big game updates and we are excited to bring both Heists and GTAV for PC to you very soon. Please stay tuned for lots more information in the weeks ahead and for now.”
