CD Projekt RED has released 14 minutes of gameplay for the upcoming open world action RPG ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’.

The new gameplay gives a good look at the expansive open world that players can look to roam around in when ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’ comes out May 19. Just from the exploration gameplay alone, it looks like all directions a fair game for Geralt in which to travel, be it on foot or horseback. A small shot of the world map that is seen later in the video also shows off the game’s expansive nature with what appears to be a vast world for players to explore and a large variety of possible locations to visit.

On top of seeing the world, there are also small glimpses of the game’s narrative, its quests and even some combat against a variety of enemies thrown in as well. Those interested in the title should definitely take a look below.

‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’ is the newest entry in the critically acclaimed action RPG series. Taking place after the events of ‘The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings’, players take on the role of Geralt of Rivia once more as he embarks on a personal journey. However, when a mysterious army known as the Wild Hunt start rampaging through the lands, it is clear that only Geralt holds the key to stopping them.

The upcoming open world action RPG already features a fair amount of planned post-release DLC, with a total of 16 pieces coming in for it once the game comes out. However, CD Projekt RED has decided to make all of this content available to fans at no additional charge. CD Projekt RED co-founder and joint CEO Marcin Iwinski, commented on the reasoning behind the free DLC in a recent interview, explaining “Because people just paid full price for our game. We owe them.”

CD Projekt RED recently delayed ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’ a second time from its proposed release date of February 24 to May 19 due to concerns over the game’s technical issues.

‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’ will be making its way on to Xbox One, PS4 and Windows PC on May 19.
