Ubisoft has released a new story trailer the upcoming open-world first person shooter ‘Far Cry 4.’

Far Cry 4’ is the newest entry in the long running open-world first person shooter series that takes players to a fictional mountainous region of the Himalayas known as Kyrat. Players step into the shoes of Ajay Ghale, a man who returns to his homeland to fulfill his mother’s dying wish of scattering her ashes. Yet what Ajay finds when is a chaotic civil war brought about by a self-appointed king of the region named Pagan Ming.

Set to a cover of Steppenwolf’s “Born To be Wild,” the new story trailer gives more details of the conflict occurring in Kyrat. In it, we get to see a power struggle occurring in the side who stands against main antagonist Ming. These two struggling leaders of influence are named Amita and Sabal. From the looks of it, if the player aligns themselves with Amita, the player will be able to somehow better fulfill Ajay’s mother’s dying wish. However, if aligned with Sabal, Ajay may hope to save the lives of innocents from Ming’s ruthless army. Regardless, it all seems to be a tough moral choice that looks like it will be main driving force of the narrative of ‘Far Cry 4’

Alongside the chunks of story in the trailer, there are also several bits of the upcoming first person shooter’s explosive gameplay. There is even a glimpse of the game’s wildlife and vehicular combat that is to be featured in the game.

‘Far Cry 4’ will be getting a Season Pass alongside its release in November which will contain a variety of different pieces of content that will expand the game’s main campaign as well as provide new modes and side-missions.

‘Far Cry 4’ will be available for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on November 18.
