Ubisoft has just released a trailer announcing the exclusive content that will be available to those who preorder the free limited edition of the upcoming ‘Far Cry 4.’

Consumers who preorder Far Cry 4 will automatically get their copy upgraded to the free limited edition version of the game. As opposed to the standard edition of the game, the limited edition will grant players access to three exclusive single-player missions where they must go on a quest to find a rare priceless artifact with Hurk, an old character featured in ‘Far Cry 3.’

The limited edition will also include access to a literal whale harpoon gun called The Impaler, which can be used to impale enemies up against walls or even be shot at helicopters. Players will also get access to the ability to unlock “more monkeys” on to the game’s map. However, from the trailer, the effect of this seems to be mostly cosmetic.

‘Far Cry 4’ is an open world first person shooter that takes place in a vast mountain region based in the Himalayas. It puts you into the shoes of Ajay Ghale, an English-speaking Nepalese native who returns to his mother’s homeland of Kyrat in order to fulfill her dying wish of scattering her ashes there. However, what he finds when he gets there is a civil war waging between Kyrat’’s natives and the despotic regime of a self-appointed king named Pagan Ming. Pinned up against a wall, Ghale is forcibly caught up in the conflict.

Uniquely enough, the game will be the first in the long running open world franchise to have its main character match the ethnicity of the region in which the game takes place with Ghale being full Nepalese.

‘Far Cry 4’ will be available for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on November 18.
