We finally got a look at the concept art for the main villain, The Master, in ‘The Strain‘ and now we’ve got an extended trailer to share with you! While each of the teasers for the show has looked pretty good, I’m glad to see we’re actually finally starting to see more of what the plot and acting will be like on the small screen.

I can’t wait for July!

We have 13 episodes of fun from the mind of Guillermo del Toro on the way and clearly FX’s skill at bringing us dark and gritty shows will pay off big when it comes to this small screen adaptation. I think we can all say thanks to the success of ‘American Horror Story‘ for FX to be digging further into the realm of horror. I hope this show ends up getting the same level of quality in acting and writing so we have another runaway hit on our hands to enjoy for years to come.

So I was already excited to be able to check out this series and that didn’t help. That is, it didn’t help July get here any quicker because I think this is going to be my favorite television series of the summer, if that trailer is any indication at all!

Are you dying for it to be July 13th so you can enjoy the beginning of this vampiric infection? Which portion of the trailer caught your interest the most? Let us know what you think about del Toro’s latest project below!
